Girl It's Your Money - Mansfield Program

‘Girl It’s Your Money’ is a unique project partnership designed to empower and educate young women between the ages of 17 and 29 years, in the North East region of Victoria. A series of targeted professional financial literacy programs will be held across three local government areas commencing with the Mansfield Shire. The project is a partnership between the Women In North East (WINE) Network and professional Money Coach, Annette Rose.

ABOUT ANNETTE

Annette Rose is the CEO/Founder of startup social enterprise 'Kids Get Money' (https://kidsget.money) and 'The Women's Money Coach'. Annette is also a Regional Skills Advisor and Incubator Graduate of the North East Innovation Ecosystem, 'Startup Shakeup'. Annette has over 20 years experience in Financial Services and is an accomplished speaker and writer who provides specialised financial literacy education to women.

THE PROGRAM

The Financial Literacy programs will be facilitated by Annette and offered in a flexible hybrid format with a choice of in-person OR online delivery. This in-person event will be held over a 3 week period at MACE Mansfield in the 'Bank Room' at the folowing dates and times:

Light refreshments will be provided including tea/coffee facilities and snacks (you are most welcome to bring additional food and drink to each session). All participants will receive tailored program materials.  Duration of the sessions is approximately 1 hour 30 mins. 'Girl It’s Your Money' creates an authentic and safe space for young regional women to explore and gain confidence with financial concepts, to activate their economic involvement, enhance their physical and mental wellbeing, and protect their economic futures.

HOW TO APPLY

The program is FREE to enrol and open to those in the 17-29 year age group who are residents of North East Victoria (If you fall just outside this age group you are still welcome to apply). Our program is culturally inclusive and diverse, and Aboriginal women are strongly encouraged to enrol. Registrations are being accepted online.
